When Does Work Become a Flaw?

Is working a flaw? Or, if the question is put correctly: when does work become a flaw?

Work is by nature not a flaw. But it may rise to become — or reach the stage of — a flaw, if a person engages in corruption, fraud, transgression, or deliberately steps into forbidden matters without an extreme necessity.

For, as it is well known: necessities permit the forbidden.

What We Were Never Taught in School

One of the things we were never taught in school is trade. The reason is that the current traditional education system — however it exists — largely seeks and contributes to supporting the prevailing economic system.

So you find many fathers and mothers telling their children: "Study at school so you can graduate, then enter university, then graduate and land a prestigious job."

Nice, isn't it?

Well, why does the child's programming not include the idea of graduating and, for example, starting a company?

Why Do We Fear Risk?

The reason is attributed to people's general dislike of risk-taking, because when you start a company you may not succeed straight away on the first try — but you will be in competition, and in continuous learning and development.

And here comes the influence of the environment and society, and the way people look at you according to your age and your outward appearance — represented by the watch, the car, and other material things.

Amazingly, the owner of Facebook — on whose platform we are right now — wears the same outfit every day to reduce the number of decisions he makes, and he does not care about society.

Islamic Moderation

Of course, praise be to Allah for the blessing of true Islam, which took moderation as its solution. But a comprehensive change of the holistic view of education as a whole must be made.
