My Message to the Doha Institute in Qatar

Dear brothers/Respected Doha Institute,

I would like to study at the Doha Institute because of the capabilities the Institute offers that match my ambition, especially in political science. I expect the Institute to provide applicants and students with all the means for a student of knowledge to get the maximum benefit from the academic scholarship offered by the Institute.

During my university studies — as I studied at Sana'a University for a year and then transferred to a Malaysian university, because at Sana'a University I did not see any cultural or sports activities; their focus was rather on how to reduce the number of students by any possible means — I thank God that I moved to Malaysia to study. Even if it cannot compare with developed countries, it gave me the opportunity to participate in cultural and sports activities that increased my self-confidence, and with them I learned many things that have benefited me in my life, and I know they will also benefit me in my future life. As for speaking about academic strengths, my grades are the best witness.

Regarding language proficiency, praise be to God — I studied English before and after secondary school, and I completed my bachelor's degree in English from a Malaysian university, and one of the graduation requirements was conducting scientific research, which I completed with God's grace.

As for academic and volunteer experiences, I participated in many activities inside and outside the university, and I also represented the university internationally at the International Technology Conference in China. Among my participations, I also submitted and won the bronze award for the Smart Lift invention model in South Korea, but due to some obstacles I was unable to attend the awards ceremony.

I have volunteered in very many activities, which created in me the sense and spirit of proper team leadership and working with others to accomplish many events. I summarized much of this in my CV because my CV had reached four pages — and this while I still have no practical experience in my field. So I was forced to reduce the number of events and activities I had done, mentioning them in the CV on just one page.

As for future plans, I had a clear, straightforward plan: after graduation I would work in my engineering field, then start a family and live in peace, safety and security. But when the war broke out, many things changed — I even discovered things about myself I did not know, and with God's grace I was able to possess and control myself instead of indulging in useless talk. After deep reflection, I arrived at general points that define my future plans, as follows:

1. Working on developing myself in a way that benefits me and benefits the whole world.
2. Moving away from small goals and setting a loftier goal.
3. Establishing a research and development center for scientific and practical research.

And much more... I don't want to go on at length, and avoiding rosy dreams and illusions, I want a scientific, practical application of my future goals. I believe this will be an excellent opportunity for me to develop myself, get to know new cultures, broaden my horizons, and move forward toward global peace and security.
